The Money

There are two types of money that you can use in the game. Town Coins can be earned by completing quests from different buildings or through clicking the building’s “stars”. DC Cash (Digital Chocolate Cash) need to be earned by trying out offers or purchasing it with real money.

The Buildings

Some buildings can be constructed through Town Coins but there are a few that need DC Cash. The list below is grouped as decorative and functional. Decorative buildings do not produce anything but quests randomly appear for you to progress. Functional buildings produce goods to help you fulfill the quests. This will help you decide whether you want to stick with the functional buildings or make you curious enough to build the decorative ones to know what comes up next.

Decorative

Residential – houses, flats, apartments including Brownstone, cabins (limited time it is functional), cottages & chalets.

Commercial – fudge shop, farm, night club, Pho3000, comic shop, salon, liquor store, school, subway station, police station, office, town hall, museum, dotcom building, rex in the city and the aquarium.

Functional

The school, library, cafe, Do’s Donuts, bar, boutique, pet shop, taco stand, garden center, news stand, record store, post office, fire station, market, bakery, bike shop, burger shop, city park, Italian restaurant, zoo, winery, and the playground. For a limited time the bank, shroom shack, and the cabin is functional for the Easter Egg quests.

Value (Rent) of Buildings

Each building is worth an amount of Town Coins which appear as 3 stars above each building. You can consider this as rent. This helps when you need more Town Coins to purchase more buildings or produce goods. Here is a list that I’ve seen so far, based on what I have in the game.
